This course was provided by MOODY INTERNATIONAL CERTIFICATION

This course offers instruction, discussion, short exercises, syndicate case studies and presentations designed to assist you to understand, and take part in, all of the activities scheduled over the next five days.

AIM

The aim of this course is to provide training for potential Lead Auditors and Auditors through a training course and to provide delegates with the knowledge and skill in assessment techniques (including personnel communication skills) to carry out quality assessments.

THE COURSE

During the course the Tutor(s) carry out a continuous assessment of each Delegate’s timekeeping participation, application, comprehension, teamwork, course contribution, exercise and syndicate work presentation and personal communication skills.  A pass mark of 70% is required to qualify towards a course certificate.

It is a requirement in the training course curriculum that there is an examination on the last day of the course in which a pass mark of 70% is required to qualify.  The examination is in 4 parts and you are required to achieve at least 40% in each section.

Passes in both of the above are required to qualify for the award of a course certificate.

Any delegates failing the examination is only allowed one re-sit, which shall be within 12 months of failing a course, on a ISAS future course which has a different examination.  Moody International levy an administration charge for this facility.

Failure of the continuous assessment or after one re-sit will require the repeat of a whole Lead Auditor / Auditor course.

Attendance for the full duration of the course is mandatory.  If a delegate is absent from any part of the course programme they are not eligible to sit the examination, and would need to apply to attend another course.
